Why sail at Bronks?
I sail at Bronks because - it's too far to go to Cape Town every weekend. It doesn't help waiting for every December holiday to go sailing again. By sailing at Bronks, I can maintain some currency in the sport. Every time I sail, I learn more and reinforce in my own mind as to why I really enjoy this sport. I get to talk rubbish with my sailing buddies - it's all a form of release and a good way to de-stress from the humdrum of 9 to 5 work life.
My idea of perfect Sailing conditions / Kit:
20 knots, 25 degree azure blue water, speed strip for gybing, chop at one end for interest - Dahab - never been there but it looks good.... 6 sq.m sail and 100 liter freeride board blasting along at 30 knots !
